Twenty Women Entrepreneurs Enter the Finals of the “Small and Powerful” Program

The final pitch day of the “Small and Powerful” program was held today at the NALED Lab, where 20 women entrepreneurs from across Serbia advanced to the final selection for grants of £10,000 each. Through their pitches, the candidates presented projects in the fields of digital services, creative industries, production, health, gastronomy, and sustainable development.

Among the finalists were entrepreneurs from Bavanište (Kovin municipality), Belgrade, Čenta, Donji Tavankut (Subotica), Gornji Milanovac, Kragujevac, Kruševac, Loznica, Novi Sad, Prokuplje, Sremska Mitrovica, Strižа (Paraćin), Tutin, Vranje, and Vrbas – demonstrating wide geographical representation and the strong interest of women entrepreneurs from both smaller and larger communities.

The grant committee consisted of Jasna Hajder (British Embassy in Belgrade), Jelena Krdžavac (Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs), Ljupka Mihajlovska (Cabinet of the Minister without portfolio for Gender Equality), Marija Gnjatović (Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation), and Stanka Pejanović (Triglav International Belgrade / NALED).

The finalists demonstrated a high level of professionalism, creativity, and dedication, reaffirming that women are driving meaningful change in entrepreneurship across Serbia. In the coming period, the grant committee will make its decision on this year’s grant recipients, who will receive financial support of £10,000, mentorship, and expert assistance for further business development.
