NALED, in partnership with the associations Laris, Svetlost and Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM18), has launched the implementation of the DIGIT project, aimed at improving digital governance in Serbia in a way that is citizen-oriented and aligned with European standards of transparency and inclusion.
The DIGIT project seeks to make digital public services more accessible, understandable, and inclusive. A special focus is placed on older persons, young people not in employment, education or training, women from rural areas, and persons with disabilities, ensuring that all citizens can benefit from digital governance.
Objectives and results
Through its activities, DIGIT combines research, capacity-building, and local initiatives to improve the quality and accessibility of digital public services, empower citizens and civil society organisations, and increase community participation in the digital transformation process. The project is expected to directly involve more than 400 citizens and 60 civil society organisations, while reaching over 150,000 citizens through awareness-raising campaigns.
Key activities
The project is implemented with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, within the programme “Human Rights, Democracy and Civil Society Programme for Serbia 2024–2025.”
